I'm Miss Ashli, I am born and raised in Cheyenne, WY and I have a son named Beckett, who is my world. I have over 16 years of experience in early education. I've owned and operated a preschool endorsed facility, program and site director and coordinated multiple school facilities in Wyoming and Colorado. I received my certification and earned credits through Grand Canyon University.

Hello everyone! I’m Mrs. Katie. I have had a love for children since a young age. I have been in a childcare setting for six years. I knew shortly after starting that teaching children was my calling and so I completed my bachelor’s in childhood education administration. I love seeing each child learn and grow and explore the world. As an administrator I want to advocate for the children and help them have the best foundation in learning before moving on to their next journey.

My name is Marti Young; I am originally from central Nebraska, where we visit family often. I have lived and just recently moved from Colorado, where I went to school, worked, and started our family.

I am married to my high school sweetheart. We have two wonderful girls and a loving Lab named Tripp. As a family, we love to camp, play outside, and spend time with friends and family. I have 15-plus years of experience in a childcare setting. I was a Program Director and also taught Kindergarten Enrichment for many years for Douglas County School district’s Before and After Care in Colorado.

Hello, my name is Luisa, but you can call me Miss Lu; I am a clinical psychologist, I have always liked working with children, especially since I started studying psychology. I knew that children's minds were among the most important to care for, so that is my greatest purpose in life. I am characterized by being a creative, happy, and empathetic person; I like to show my affection with words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service, and care. One of my favorite hobbies is baking cookies, cakes, and many more desserts. With me, you will always find a safe place to talk, a smile, and a show of affection. I like to work with assertiveness and love, always with patience and willing to listen.

Hello! My name is Chelsea. I have been working with young children for 7 years. I love baking, reading, and hunting. Wyoming has been my home for 9 years, and I have a husband and two great kids. I hold a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Nebraska, but I have discovered a passion for helping young children learn. As your child’s teacher, I will guide them in exploring the world around them, learning how to communicate effectively, and developing their ability to express themselves.

Greetings SchoolHouse Families! My name is Megan Brown. I am originally from Colorado, but I went to the University of Wyoming for my Education degree and have stayed pretty much ever since! I have had a long-standing background in education and have worked with a variety of ages from infancy up to 8th grade for many years. When I am not in the classroom, you can find me spending time outdoors hiking, fishing, kayaking, or simply being with my family!

Hello, I’m Katherine! I have been teaching here at the Schoolhouse for a little over a year now! I have tons of previous experience through classrooms and plenty of computer trainings. I am certified in CPR, TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages), and TEFL (Teaching English to Foreign Learners) alongside my everyday teaching certification. I am currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and love to bring what I learn to the classroom for better relationships with my students. Your children will feel safe and excited when coming to school in my room! I can’t wait to get to know you all!

Hi, my name is Joni Pence. I am originally from Nebraska. I have lived in Cheyenne Wyoming for 13 years. I am married to my husband Carl for 19 years. We love to travel and see new places, watch sports, attend Husker football games, and spend time with family and friends. I have an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have over 13 years of experience in an early education center working for the Air Force. I have taught first, second, and fifth grade students in the Laramie County School District in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

My name is Wendi Power, and I am the Kindermusik Teacher! I have my bachelor’s in music education from the University of Wyoming and I’ve been teaching for 10 years. It’s a pure enjoyment to sing, play and dance with your littles in Kindermusik class!

My name is Dani, and I am the nurse! I’ve been a nurse for 4 years specializing in women/children and I am a CPR instructor for the teachers here and the community of Cheyenne. I strive to make sure everything is safe and running smoothly behind the scenes!
