FAQ's
Do you close a classroom if a teacher is absent?
We try very hard to never have to close classrooms. If we need to close a room, adequate timing will be given and this will only be for the safety of the children in our care.
Do you have a contract we (parents) are obligated to?
No. We believe if our program is not in the best interest of our families, obligation is not necessary. We ask for notice when at all available.
What are we as parents to expect for closures that aren't scheduled?
We follow the school district's schedule very closely. If weather is an issue and the district calls for a snow day, we will follow suit. We will let everyone know in advance on the website, Facebook, and email. Each week we send out newsletters explaining coming up closures, and we update our Facebook page and website regularly.
Do I pay my full monthly fee if I take a vacation?
No. You get an allotted 2 weeks' vacation time per year. Weeks must be taken at a time and a two weeks' notice must be given.
Are staff required to undergo background checks and fingerprinting, and have CPR?
Yes. All staff have passed background checks and been fingerprinted. This is a requirement by the Wyoming Department of Family Services for all licensed childcare providers. Also each staff member is required to be CPR certified.
How does staff communicate with parents?
Do I need to let staff know if my child will be absent or is sick?
In-person, through the Bright wheel app, and our website. Please let us know of any illnesses, absences or vacations.
